Fresh Pomegranate Juice!

Fresh pomegranate juice! I got to taste it when I was in Bangalore last month. I have to tell you the fresh pom juice kicks the packed stuff you get here in the US many times over. I don't know if it was the freshness of the juice or the variety of fruit used to make it, I was just bowled over by the taste. It was brimming with fresh sweetness compared to the stale tartness you get in packed pom juice in the US.

    I'm glad pomegranate juice tastes good somewhere at least. Whatever they're selling here smells like tomato juice, very unappetizing...

    Just buy some pomegranates in season and give that blender a whirl.

    My daughter calls pomegranates "ruby fruit" - to her it looks like it's studded with rubies.

    I also try to buy organic, pesticide free produce for my juicer recipes whenever possible. Starting with vegetables, as they are the easiest to digest and tolerate. cold press juicers to buy online
